Two big dates at Alexandra Palace frame the next six weeks. Knit + Stitch fills the Great Hall from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October, and the Fireworks & Drone Festival lights the park on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November. Between them sit half term, Halloween and a run of smaller things closer to the Broadway: comedy under the King’s Head, the Make and Mend Festival at Hornsey Town Hall and the Crouch End Festival Chorus singing Mozart.

  • Alexandra Palace Fireworks & Drone Festival. Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, gates 4pm, Alexandra Palace Park, N22 7AY. Saturday is the full festival night and Sunday an earlier family day, each with a bonfire, funfair and a fireworks and drone show. The Palace lists tickets from £11.50. Remembrance Sunday is 8 November, the same day as the second fireworks night. Haringey Council had not published its 2026 services when we checked, and our Remembrance Sunday page explains what to expect.   • Ally Pally parkrun. Every Saturday, 9am, Alexandra Park. A free, timed 5k of three laps in Alexandra Park, starting by the Petanque Terrain on Lower Road. Walkers and buggies are welcome. (Ally Pally parkrun)
  • Alexandra Palace Farmers’ Market. Every Sunday, 10am to 3pm, Alexandra Palace Park, Muswell Hill entrance, N10 3TG. The market moves between two sites, so check the date. It is in the park at the Muswell Hill entrance, N10 3TG, on 4 and 25 October and 1 November. It is at Campsbourne School, Nightingale Lane, N8 7AF, on 11 and 18 October and 8 November.   • The Legendary Comedy Try Out Night. Every Thursday, doors 8pm, show 8.30pm, Downstairs at the King’s Head, N8 8AA. Up to 16 new and established acts in the basement club on Crouch End Hill. Getting there

The W3 bus runs to the door of the Palace ice rink, and the King’s Head club points visitors to the W7 from Finsbury Park. The club also says there is free parking beside it after 6.30pm. Check our roadworks and travel page before a weekend trip, and our parking page if you are driving.
